1999 he go LOUDcloud shouty name! it do serve stuff… like cloud rain but for websites. then POOF! it’s Opsware! then sold to HP sauce! $$$! he also make Ning — a thing where u make tiny facebook for grandma or cats. yay.
After that, he big boss money guy! Andreessen Horobitx…Horowhatzit…a16z! They throw money to internet babies like FaceBook and GitHut and Coin thingy. They help do stuff. Not just moneys, also big smart team! grow big internet tree from tiny code seed!
Awardy things? Yes. Internet King Crown Hall of Fame in 2013. And Queen Lizzy Prize for Browser Magic!
We like Marc. He make interweb fun and not scary. Mosaic is happy picture browser. Netscape make clicky safer. Loudcloud was like wizard cloud. He give money and hugs (not really) to baby companies. No Marc = maybe no web! Thanks Marc boom boom!
